25 years have passed since we decided to switch to organic viticulture, a cultural change even before a productive one. Visit to the vineyard and cellar along the stages of our journey and tasting of three wines that embody the evolution undertaken, based on respect and the search for authenticity.
Private parties of any kind are not allowed during cellar tour. We are available to transmit the culture and values of the territory, history and new company projects. If you are interested in them, we will do our best.

Founded in 1870, Barone Pizzini is one of the oldest wineries in Franciacorta and it was the first estate in the appellation to practice organic farming. Ever since its conversion in the 1990s and the organic certification of all its vineyards in 2001, the winemaking team at Barone Pizzini has remained faithful to its belief that chemical-free farming is essential to the production of high-quality wines.

Esperiensa consigliatissima, ottima l'organizzazione sia per contenuti che per tempistiche. I vini degustati all'altezza della qualità generale percepita, l'Animante una gradevole scoperta il Bagnadore una garanzia.
Una menzione per la ns giuda Elisa, gentilissima, coinvolgente e preparata.

Rispetto alle altre cantine visitate qui l accoglienza è stata insufficiente molto disorganizzati , la visita della cantina è stata interessante ma poi anche la degustazione è stata molto disorganizzata

Ottima accoglienza all'arrivo. La ragazza che ci ha guidato durante la visita in vigna, alla cantina e alla degustazione veramente molto brava, competente e appassionata. Per me che sono intollerante trovato formaggio stagionato 24 mesi e affettati senza glutine ne' lattosio. Visita consigliatissima.

On a very hot, sunny afternoon we were welcomed into the cool, airy and modern visitor centre at Barone Pizzini and offered refreshments before our tour began.
We joined the other tour members and totalled about 14 people with at least four different nationalities represented.
Our tour guide spoke impeccable English and was extremely knowledgeable.
We watched a welcome video before walking out into the vineyard to see the vines, the grapes and biodiversity in action.
The tour moved on to the cellars where we were amazed at the production facilities and the then the different stages of storage.
We then moved onto the tasting stage of the tour back in the reception area.
We were talked through the three wines we tasted (all delicious) and we enjoyed our vegetation platter we had ordered.
At no point did we feel rushed or pressurised. It was an instructive and beautiful and relaxed afternoon's activity.
