Traminer aromatico

Traminer Aromatico is a fine white wine from the Villa Vitas Winery, perfectly adapted to the soil, climate and sun exposure of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

With its brilliant colour and an alcohol content of 13%, this wine from 2022 offers a unique sensory experience.

The bouquet is intense and persistent yet delicate, with pleasant notes of white rose and sweet spices.

On the palate, it is characterised by softness and exotic, tropical flavours of mango, peach, pineapple and papaya.

This Traminer is ideal as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, asparagus, pumpkin and unripened cheeses.

It best expresses its complexity with dishes of oriental cuisine, making every meal an unforgettable experience.

Our activity began in Trieste at the beginning of the 20th century as a company for the wine trade in the local Free Port.
It was the love for viticulture that the founder Romano Vitas - who bought the Strassoldo estate back in 1937.
For more than 100 years our family has dedicated itself with passion and dedication to the exciting world of wine!

The date of construction of the VILLA is indicated between the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century.
In 1891, then Austrian territory, the property passed to Baron Kuhn von Kuhnenfeld, Minister of War and advisor to Emperor Franz Joseph.
In 1937 it was purchased by Commendatore Romano Vitas, who chose it as the seat of his family's wine business.
