Host information

It is a young family business, where wine and hospitality come together in a dynamic and modern vision.

Ca' Montanari, however, also goes beyond wine, devoting itself to the production of a fine traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena and hospitality, thanks to a magnificent resort with low environmental impact where you can relax while enjoying the traditional dishes of the area in the kitchen of the restaurant, careful to respect the cycle of the seasons in each dish.

This cellar is therefore a set of several worlds, in which Mattia Montanari moves with the strength and vitality typical of those who want to set increasingly ambitious and challenging goals.

The vineyards owned by the winery Opera 02 - Ca' Montanari are now spread over 21 hectares of land, cared for following practices that refer to organic farming. Among the rows of vines are the protagonists of the territory, first of all the Lambrusco, present in the varieties Grasparossa and Salamino. Malbo Gentile, Fiano, Trebbiano di Modena and Moscato are also cultivated in small quantities. The work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, is personally supervised by Mattia and his collaborators, who are always careful to devote the right care to the smallest details.
